The Twitter NAP run might have ended at four in a row after a disappointing run from Princess Naomi at Salisbury, but we were pretty much on point with the ones to watch and exclusive tips.
Clive Cox’s two-year-olds delivered. Sky Wizard was mentioned at 11/8 and won odds-on, while Dragon Legend was a nice winner at 6/1 on debut. Equatorial (11/8) got the exclusive tip section back on track.

Although I said it was a non-bet in yesterday’s newsletter due to the odds, I was firmly on the Aurora Vega hype train and her performance was impressive at Sligo as she won with ease.

Alan King is hoping that a wind operation can help Trueshan rediscover form in the Ascot Gold Cup after his disappointing start to the season. He’s meant to be training very well, but given the conditions, we wouldn’t bank on him even running next week.
William Buick is set to ride two smart-looking juveniles for George Boughey on the opening day of Royal Ascot. Asanda won by 12 lengths under Buick at Ripon on debut and is the favourite for the Coventry, while Soprano, who also impressed on debut under the Godolphin man, is fancied for the Albany.
Ones to watch
The battle between Charlie Appleby’s Godolphin pair of two-year-olds is an intriguing one today. By The Book (2/1) and State Of Desire (9/4) — both by Frankel — are set to meet in the 15:50 at Haydock. The latter was the favourite having finished third on debut at Yarmouth, but the money is coming for newcomer By The Book.
Jockey bookings suggest State Of Desire is the stable’s first string with Buick on board, but it’s interesting to see just how much James Doyle’s ride By The Book is shortening up in the market last night and this morning and there has to be a reason for that.

14:40 Haydock: Shagpyle (11/8)
Competitive field, but Shagpyle is the standout on pedigree and form. She’s sired by Frankel and a half-sister to Pyledriver. Eye-catching when winning on debut at Ascot last month

Newsletter exclusive tips
Equatorial was yesterday’s newsletter exclusive and was impressive when winning by over four lengths. Let’s try and get a run going now.
There are two tips today, The first is Gearing’s Point (6/4) in the 16:00 at Yarmouth. She was denied a clear run at Windsor earlier this month but managed to go up the centre in the closing stages and finish third by just half a length. She’s running off the same mark today.
The other is Lan Cinnte (7/4) in the 19:30 at Limerick. She was second to Aidan O’Brien’s Unless on reappearance last month and third that day Sweetest Rose has won since to boost that form. On that basis, the Jessica Harrington horse is the standout in this field.
