Just the one winner yesterday, with Tropical Air drifting out to 11/4 but still winning for Charlie Johnson. Frustrating form.
There’s plenty of racing today, and it’s all flat, with meetings at Cork, Nottingham, Beverley, Lingfield and Newcastle.
Let’s get back on track!

Ones to watch
Sweetest (7/4) is a horse I think I’ve sided with on all three of her starts, and I’d clearly back her off a cliff as I’m on her again today. She’s placed on her three starts to date, coming third in a Naas maiden lto. That form has been boosted as the winner has since won a Group 3 at Ayr while second was close behind Alabama at Dundalk last week. Tongue tie on today and good chance to get off the mark. But this will be last time I side with her if she doesn’t get off the mark.
Ziggy’s Condor was on the list for this section last night, but he’s a non-runner today. It’s ok though, because I found another. Knicks (10/3) has knocked on the door a couple of times now, finishing second at Ayr in July and he was arguably unlucky not to shed his maiden tag at Carlisle last time — having to switch left in the final stages but staying on late to go down by the narrowest of margins in third. William Buick rides him in the 15:15 at Nottingham today and he has a 19.4% SR at this course over the last five years.

Belo Horizonte (5/2) is a newsletter/telegram favourite and he’s going for five-timer today in the 15:35 at Lingfield. Three of those wins came at this course with his last coming by a length over Al Tarfa earlier this month. This is a step up in class and the Richard Spencer horse is up 7lb in the weights, but he still has a good chance.
