JPRacing - Tuesday
Believe it or not, this is edition No.91 of the JPRacing newsletter! Which means that episode 100 could be a Saturday Special on Saturday, October 28 (Futurity Stakes Day at Doncaster 👀)
There were two winners from yesterday’s edition, with Doha winning very easily on the drift to get off the mark for Ralph Beckett at Windsor and Enchanted Life winning first time out for Godolphin at Kempton.
🗞️ Newsletter exclusive tip DOHA (2/1) gets off the mark for Ralph Beckett on the third attempt with an easy win at Windsor

Jumps are back today, with meetings at Hereford and Huntingdon (my current local track, where I’ll hopefully be bringing you content from across the season), while there’s flat racing at Gowran Park, Leicester and Newcastle.

Ones to watch
Gowran and Leicester each have three juvenile races today, while there’s also one on the AW at Newcastle.
The 14:30 Maiden at Gowran is dominated by two Ballydoyle runners. The Euphrates is the favourite at 13/8 and is the stable’s first string on jockey bookings as Heffernan rides, but my preference is with Old Faithful, who has albeit gone out to 3/1 this morning.
He’s more experienced than his stablemate and was second on his third attempt under Oisin Murphy at Listowel lto. That’s probably the best form in this race and he could get off the mark today.
At Leicester, Chris’s Mate is another horse drifting. He’s out to 2/1 in the 16:00, but he showed massive improvement when coming home second on Nursery Handicap debut and he might be able to get off the mark off a 2lb higher handicap today.
A third juvenile hoping to get off the mark today is Supreme Tenacity in the 18:00 at Newcastle. He’s had five chances under rules now, but has improved handicapping and with cheek pieces added, finishing second from 33/1 two runs ago and third from 18/1 lto. Only one other horse in this race has placed in their respective careers, so today could be the day for Supreme Tenacity.

15:00 Hereford: Meechlands Magic (15/8)
Won on second chase start when 10lb out of handicap at Worcester last week. Until plenty today, but still technically 3lb well in. Big chance of following up

Stable whispers
Today sees the long awaited return of stable whispers, and word is for Boldly in the 16:20 at Newcastle. He was 8/1 and was smashed in to evens at one point when the early money came (which is often a hint itself), but the market is starting to fix itself and the MPR horse is back out to 5/2 at the time of writing.
Newsletter exclusive tips
C&D winner Lowton can return to winning ways in the 17:10 at Leicester. The Edward Bethell-trained horse won here and at Newcastle in May and June respectively, but was no better than 7th in a C2 at Ascot in July and fourth in a C3 at York lto - which wasn’t bad considering he went off 20/1.
His win here in May was off the same mark and on the same ground, so he has plenty in his favour and can win again at 6/4.
