Edition No.100 of the newsletter ending in profit on Saturday, thanks to three 5/2 winners and Flooring Porter at 6/4, while yesterday’s NAP won comfortably at Aintree from 15/8.
Form isn’t too bad at the minute on that basis, so let’s hope it can continue.
There’s several cancellations today, with Leicester, Redcar and Wexford abandoned. However, the flat cards at Galway and Newcastle are still on, while jumps goes ahead at Huntingdon.
Let’s get into it…

Ones to watch
Completed was an eye-catch when second from 10/1 in a Maiden on debut at Southwell earlier this month, and the 16:50 at Newcastle looks like a great opportunity for the Karl Burke juvenile to get off the mark on the second time of asking.
She’s currently 6/4 at the time of writing, but I can see her being hammered in the market for that race.
Dermot Weld’s Settlement made the somewhat ambitious leap to Group 3 company at the Curragh lto, and was fifth of seven from 16/1 as wasn’t up to the standard.
But she’s back down in a Maiden Fillies’ for the 12:30 at Galway and looks an absolute banker at 6/4 for that race. Step up in trip should also suit the Juddmonte Juvenile.

13:50 Huntingdon: Doc McCoy (13/8)
P2P winner who was a useful bumper winner last term, with form reading 332. Arguably sets the standard in this maiden hurdle and can get off the mark on first attempt over obstacles. Gavin Sheehan in form (24%)

I’ve followed Iolaos Du Mou a couple of times now, which is proving costly, but I’m up for giving him another chance at Huntingdon this afternoon.
He’s 6/5 best to win the 15:00 after an encouraging second behind Idc Wood at Fontwell lto. That horse placed in a G2 at Cheltenham on Friday, so a bit of a form boost. Handicap debut for the Henderson horse today, and hopefully progress is on the cards.
