JPRacing - Tuesday

Yesterday started so well, with the NAP Queens Gamble winning well before Scene One got off the mark nicely on his chase debut. However, it very quickly tailed off.

Hopefully we can have more success throughout the entirety of today.

Fairyhouse is off after Storm Debi hit Ireland rather hard, but Huntingdon, Lingfield, Newcastle and Wolverhampton have all survived.

Let’s get with it then…

Ones to watch

Kicking things off with a bumper today, there’s plenty of support for By The Grace in the 12:10 at Lingfield - as she’s been hammered into the 11/10 favourite this morning.

The Henderson horse was second in a bumper at Southwell on debut back in May, and only a little improvement from that should see her get off the mark in the MPR colours worn by Nico today.

Next is Fouroneohfever in the 13:40 at Newcastle. The Too Darn Hot colt was a close third on debut at Wolverhampton last time, just 12 days ago, and should also improve to open his account for George Boughey from 7/4.

It’s hard to think of a horse off the top of my head who has perhaps been as unlucky as Deborah’s Dream…

He’s just to win in five starts, but has gone down by a head by a neck in three of those races. Last time out was arguably a career-best, however, and he could finally win the 17:25 at Wolverhampton from 2/1 if he can repeat that form.

Support Act went 221 in bumpers and has plenty of appeal on his hurdle debut in the 13:55 at Lingfield. He’s being absolutely hammered in the market though, going into 6/4 from 2s in the last 40 mins or so. Get on him quickly
