Yesterday didn’t work out as a bad one, with the NAP Hakuna Babe drifting out to 3/1 and winning under Hollie Doyle, while Western Soldier also opened his account over hurdles at Plumpton.
This looks set to be another brief newsletter, as there are just three cards today thanks to Yarmouth being abandoned. That leaves jumps at Exeter and Hereford and flat at Wolverhampton.
Let’s get into it…

Ones to watch
There are three 2YO races at Wolverhampton this evening, and Godolphin’s Age Of Time looks likely to follow up his C&D success here lto in September in the 18:30, but odds-on. So nothing worth talking about really unless you’re looking for an acca horse.
The first juvenile contest of the evening is at 17:00. Roger Varian’s newcomer Dashing Darcey is leading the market at 2/1, but I quite like Queen’s Music for Rossa Ryan and Jack Channon at 4/1.
She made a promising debut when second on the AW at Lingfield in August, but was 6-8 on the turf at Epsom last month. This is a drop back in grade to C5 and it’s merely a modest maiden, so might get off the mark.
Lady Bouquet is another 4/1 chance with a good opportunity of winning again here in the 19:30. She was been promising since making the switch from turf to the AW, winning over C&D at the start of the month before coming second at Chelmsford 10 days ago. She has Hollie Doyle back in the saddle and should go close back here.

Montregard is still unexposed after having just two races earlier this year, coming third of 11 from 4/1 in a maiden hurdle at Doncaster in February before winning a maiden at Warwick in April. Further improvement should be on the cards if he can come into this fresh against opponents who have raced far more recently. He’s 2/1 for the 15:40 at Hereford.
