It was a quiet one from me over the weekend really as I was just too busy - it’s that time of the year when there’s just always something on.
It’s a quiet Monday in terms of racing as well, with two jumps cards at Plumpton and Musselburgh, and an AW card at Wolverhampton.
So, let’s get into it.

Ones to watch
Ippotheos won on his fourth attempt when make his AW/yard debut at Wolverhampton earlier this month. He stayed on well that day, indicating that this step back up in trip to 7f should be no issue for his Nursery debut. There’s good market support coming for him as well, as he’s into 7/4 for the 19:00.
There’s an interesting newcomer in the bumper at Musselburgh. Yakaleo is a €65,000 3YO Buck’s Boum gelding out of a good French horse, and the Nicky Richards yard has a good SR in bumpers at this track. So could be worth siding with at 13/8.

Won on chase debut for Venetia Williams at Lingfield five weeks ago, up 8lb for that success, but looks capable of following up for in-form yard

There’s been good support for Goodwin in the opening race at Plumpton, and he’s overtaken Junkanoo at the fore of the market at 15/8. He was second on his debut over hurdles here last month and a drop in trip looks a like a good move to get that first win in this sphere.
Another Rossa ride at Wolves, Reverberation looks capable of making it back-to-back wins in the 18:00 based on his win at Chelmsford. It’s a first test over this trip and he’s up 4lb, but looks more than capable at 6/4z
