Yesterday’s newsletter produced a tasty profit of 6.45, with Kansas City Star (16/5), Tune In A Box (6/4), Monkfish (9/4) and Tactical Move (5/2) all winning.
It would be nice to go into the weekend on similar vein, so here’s hoping I can pick some more winners across today’s cards at Sandown, Lingfield, Sedgefield, Dundalk, Wolverhampton and even Meydan.
Let’s get into it…

15:20 Sedgefield: The Big Jetaway (2/1)
Won three chases in a row earlier this year, last seen placing over hurdles at Kelso in September. Returns from break to tackle fences again and looks capable of winning a relatively weak race

Springtime Promise is drifting slightly in the opener at at Sedgefield, as Getaway Theatre is getting a bit of support, but I still like the look of her after her stable debut win over hurdles at Huntingdon earlier this month.
She beat the Skelton’s odds-on-chance Coco Mademoiselle by two lengths that day from 11/1, and she has a good chance of going 2-2 for Fergal O’Brien today — although she is out to 11/4 in some places having once been the favourite.
Former three-time flat winner Gyllen looks capable of carrying on his upward curve since joining Kayley Woollacott in the last at Sandown. He won on the second outing for his new yard at Taunton in November and followed up back at that course in December under Harry Cobden. Cobden is back in the saddle today and 11/2 says they land the hat-trick.
Monsieur Fantaisie (13/8) has just one win in 31 attempts, but went incredibly close to making it two when a narrow second at Wolverhampton six days ago. On that form though, there’s a chance he is ready to score again and he holds solid claims in the 15:47 at Lingfield.
Over to Meydan now and Mysterious Night is looking to follow up his success in a C&D handicap last Friday at1 13/8 in the Group 2 Al Fahidi Fort at 14:40. The Godolphin horse won that race here seven days ago with ease, and while is an obvious step up in class, it should take a very good run to beat him. Charlie Appleby has also won seven of the last nine renewals.
The Group 1 Jebel Hatta looks like another fantastic race, with Buick and Appleby leading the market with 6/4 shot Measured Time. He won a G2 over C&D by over 3l in December, but I am siding with Guineas winner Mawj at 7/4.
Her form is outstanding, including two wins here last year and a G1 success at Keeneland in October before that narrow second at the Breeders’ Cup, as well as the Classic success. She has a good weight allowance over the favourite and Oisin Murphy has jetted in from America to ride.
