JPRacing - All roads lead to Royal Ascot 👑

It’s Royal Ascot week, therefore, there will be a special newsletter on each day of the meeting, including Saturday! But before all that, we have got to get through today and hopefully pick some winners. The exclusive tips section was on fire last week with a winner every day from Tuesday-Friday, so hopefully that can continue as well.

Headlines

🚨 The big news this morning is that the Gosdens have NOT declared Laurel for the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes at Ascot on Wednesday

Blue Rose Cen won her second Classic of the season when destroying her rivals in the Prix de Diane at Chantilly yesterday. Aidan O’Brien’s Never Ending Story was second, while Running Lion was last for Oisin Murhpy and the Gosdens.

It wasn’t all disappointment for Murphy in France, however, as he won the Group 3 Prix du Lys Longines with Rubis Vendome.

One to watch

Today’s one to watch is Elegant Madame in the 3:00 at Lingfield. She’s the second favourite to Middleham Park Racing’s newcomer Ventura Empress (13/8) at 4/1.

I hate to oppose MPR and it has left me with egg on my face before, but Elegant Madame is a half-sister to 6f Listed winner Summer Sands and Amo Racing have a great record with 2YOs.

Amo, Kevin Stoute and Dominic Ffrench Davis landed one in the one to watch section last week with Thunder Blue as well.

Newsletter exclusive tips

Let’s start the week off well and go for a selection from Lingfield, Wolverhampton and Windsor.

The first is Mucky Mulconry (11/8) in the 5:35 at Windsor. He was clear second and only beaten by a head at Yarmouth last week. That was further progress from the Michael Wigham-trained horse and he holds solid claims to go close again off the same mark today.

The next is Alpine Girl (3/1) in the 5:00 at Lingfield. Dropped to 5f lto and got off the mark for James Fanshawe over C&D as a result. She kept on well in the closing stages to win by a length that day and there could be further progress again this evening.

The final tip is Imperial Dream (6/4) in the 2:40 at Wolverhampton. Was fourth on reappearance over 7½f at Lingfield last Monday, but is dropped back down to 7f and is the biggest danger for Sir Mark Prescott
