JPRacing - Saffie strikes again 🎯
Saffie Osborne is the Racing League 🐐. She just keeps delivering and she landed us another 3/1 winner last night as Gallant Lion romped home in the 19:30 at Windsor.
It's @OsborneSaffie again in the @RacingLeagueUK!
Gallant Lion is so brave to win at @WindsorRaces for leaders Wales & The West... http

That wasn’t our only 3/1 winner of the day though, as Oisin Murphy steered Romanova home with sheer ease in the opener at Salisbury for another success in the ‘one to watch’ section.
👀 Romanova (Golden Horn) gets off the mark and in nice style after her Listed debut behind stablemate Shuwari last time, powering clear in the Sangster silks at @salisburyraces

Newsletter favourite Bazball got a mention yesterday and went on to win at 9/2 for the in-form apprentice Pierre-Louis Jamin. The NAP Alfred Munnings was second after looking to have the race won, Queen Regent was nowhere and Metal Merchant and Jkr Cobbler were non-runners.
Three winners at those prices is not a bad day by any means, but today’s a new day and there’s plenty to look forward to from Newbury, Epsom, Wolverhampton, Cork, Tramore, Thirsk and Newmarket.
Headlines
Nashwa remains amongst the eight runners confirmed for next week’s Juddmonte International at York, but is fancied readily at around 33/1 for the £1m prize.
Best Odds
Paddington - 4/5
Mostahdaf - 10/3
Desert Crown - 5/1
Alflaila - 14/1
The Foxes - 20/1
Bay Bridge - 33/1
Nashwa - 33/1
Point Lonsdale - 100/1
Wales and the West remain the team to beat as we reach the halfway stage of the Racing League. Jamie Osborne’s team extended their lead from 77 points to 93 after a double at Windsor thanks to Bring It and Gallant Lion.
River Tiber’s preparation for the G1 Prix Morny at Deauville on Sunday was marred after he missed some training when suffering a setback a couple of weeks ago and Aidan O’Brien is concerned for the fitness of the Coventry Stakes winner.
Sticking with Ballydoyle, Aidan has also provided an update on Gold Cup winner Kyprios. He had a good canter at the Curragh recently and came out of it well, so the Irish Leger is an option and if all is good after that then he could head to Longchamp for a race at Arc weekend. That’s likely all we will see from this season at best.
One to watch
There are 14 juvenile races across the cards today — and my laptop is once again unhappy with the number of tabs I have open because of that. Anyway, the show must go on regardless of whether my laptop is going to blow up or not.
The first 2YO selection of the day is Miaharris at 11/4 in the 15:45 at Newbury. Oisin won us a good one at a nice price in this section yesterday and I’m backing him to follow that up for us.
The Owen Burrows filly won comfortably on debut at Sandown under Jim Crowley last month and she’s taken to win on this step up to Listed company. The trainer’s form recently is a big positive and Oisin is starting to rediscover his best form after a barren spell as well, including a treble at Salisbury yesterday.
Next up is Aidan O’Brien’s Sweetest in the 16:15 at Cork. This is the 2YO’s first outing, but with favourite She’s Quality a non-runner, she looks worth given a chance on debut at 7/4. She’s a 420,000 euro yearling, Blue Point filly and half-sister to three winners.
Finally, Lexington Belle should also win the 14:15 at Wolverhampton. She got off the mark for Alice Haynes very comfortably when winning by over 4 lengths at Thirsk last week when fitted with cheekpieces and a 6lb penalty shouldn’t stop the Middleham Park horse following up. She’s 10/11, but worth adding to an acca or something.

Tramore 17:00: C’est Quelqu’un (6/4)
Experienced 6YO who won over fences and hurdles for Sean Curran. Two seconds over hurdles since switch to Gordon Elliott in July and looks an attractive mark for first chasing attempt for new trainer. The one to beat under Jack… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

First up is Naaey, but she’s at a short price of 11/10 for the 14:50 at Wolverhampton. She was second on debut at Kempton on her only 2YO start last November and she hasn’t been seen since, but her form is boosted as that race has produced several winners. Today’s longer trip should suit the Gosden horse and it shouldn’t be a big ask for her to win on reappearance.
If you fancy a quick-fire double, Boiling Point races 10 minutes before in the 14:40 at Newbury. He’s fancied to go one better over this longer trip after finishing second on debut. He’s best odds of evens and Naaey’s 11/10 make a 3.01/1 double.
Today’s final selection is Boogie Woogie (2/1) in the 5:52 feature at Cork. She’s one of two O’Brien runners in the field and it’s interesting that Ryan Moore has stuck with her given Library’s (15/4) third in the Irish Oaks, but that’s often a hint.
We were on side with Boogie Woogie when she got off the mark in a Fillies Maiden at Naas way back in April (and people say I don’t keep track 😉) and she was second in the G3 Prix de Royaumont at Chantilly lto in June.
