I decided not to do a newsletter yesterday as I didn’t like the look of anything else apart from the NAP and the telegram tip, and I’m not going to just throw stuff out for the sake of it when actual money is on the line for you guys.
Both tips proved to be good things though, so it was the right decision as well. The NAP Joyeuse sent racing X (former Twitter 🤪) into meltdown with a really nice win despite a huge drift out to a SP of 11/4 from 6/4. I think it even touched 5s at one stage.
🚀 Impressive debut
€235,000 purchase Joyeuse makes a winning start to life in Britain with a likeable performance in the JP McManus silks 🟡🟢

The Caltonian was well-backed into odds-on and won by a length to give Jonny Peate his first win of the year.
Today’s racing is still rather shit, as Exeter being abandoned means we have jumps at Market Rasen this afternoon and an AW card at Southwell this evening.
But I do have a couple more selections that I did yesterday, so the newsletter has passed its morning inspection.

William Cody hasn’t won since his victory at Huntingdon in December 2022, but he’s been knocking on the door with three seconds in a row this season and he could get his head back in front front at 9/4 in the 14:40 dropped back on trip and with better ground today.
Another consistent runner taking to the track at Market Rasen this afternoon is Charles St in the 15:10. The O’Brien horse opened his account with a win over C&D LTO in November and a 5lb rise might not stop him winning at 2/1.
At Southwell, Mumayaz is set to make his 20th racecourse appearance since his last win in the opener. On the basis of his last two seconds, including being beaten by a short head at Wolves lto, that run could end today. He’s up a pound today, so could be good value at 7/2.
